Critical Airflow Control Systems Ltd has entered into a contract with Shepherd Engineering Services of Northampton for the design, installation and commissioning of a fully integrated Phoenix Laboratory airflow control system and Trend BMS. The contract valued in excess of £500K is for Infineum, the global lubricant and fuel additive company.
Work will start in immediately on the new state of the art technology centre, which will house research and development laboratories and office accommodation for technology personnel. An additional building to house "pilot-scale" blending operations and "process scale-up" activities is also to be built in the same development. The new facilities are targeted to be ready for July 2005.
With headquarters in Milton Hill, near Abingdon, U.K., the Infineum Group of Companies is a major worldwide developer, manufacturer and marketer of lubricant additives used primarily in automotive, heavy-duty diesel and marine engines, and additives for gasoline and diesel fuels. Infineum is a 50/50 joint venture between Exxon Mobil and Shell, bringing their respective Additives Divisions together. |
