Order secured for the Cancer Research Building for AstraZeneca...


Critical Airflow Controls have secured a major order to provide Phoenix control systems for a new state of the art cancer research facility for AstraZeneca.

The new building is a part of the company's strategic goal for Alderley Park Discovery. The new unit will house 240 scientists and support staff and become a focal point for research into new methods of combating various forms of cancer.

AstraZeneca is a major international healthcare company engaged in the research, development, manufacture and marketing of ethical pharmaceuticals and the supply of healthcare services with sales of over $17.8 billion.

Phoenix Controls will maintain the strict pressurisation regions throughout the facility and will be interfaced with the BMS system.
