Critical Airflow Ltd has secured a major order for the detailed design, engineering and commissioning of Phoenix VAV and CAV Valves and associated control equipment for a new research and production facility for the US drugs firm Eli Lilly.

The Basingstoke operation was opened in 1939 and remains a cornerstone for Lilly manufacturing throughout the world. Basingstoke produces, packages and warehouses several of the company's best selling medicines for supply to the UK National Health Service and exports throughout the world. About 80% of Basingstoke output is for export. Lilly has 3 times won the Queen's Award for International Trade and both these plants are models of dynamic productivity.
