Three established universities, St Andrews , Cambridge and University of Limerick have chosen Critical Airflow Controls to provide Phoenix equipments for the control and management of their laboratory environmental conditions.
University of St Andrews
Founded in 1413, St Andrews is the oldest university in Scotland and the third oldest in the UK . For almost six centuries, the University have proudly upheld the tradition of academic excellence, attracting scholars of international repute and students from all over the world. This is the forth major project secured for Phoenix control systems at the University.
University of Cambridge
The University of Cambridge is one of the oldest universities in the world and one of the largest in the United Kingdom. Its reputation for outstanding academic achievement is known world-wide and reflects the intellectual achievement of its students, as well as the world-class original research carried out by the staff of the University and the Colleges. Phoenix Control Systems have been used throughout this world class University for the past twelve years and the original systems are still operating today. This further underpins the confidence in maintaining the continued relationship with the University in delivering engineering excellence.
University of Limerick
Phoenix Controls Systems have been chosen for a number of specialist laboratory areas at this new impressive facility at the University of Limerick in Ireland .
The main building contract for a new €20 million Health Sciences Building at the University was recently signed by Professor Roger Downer, President of UL.
Work on the new building covering an area of 6,186 square metre's on the north bank of the river Shannon is scheduled to open in June 2005. It will accommodate 500 Nursing Studies students, 100 Physiotherapy students and 100 post-graduates in Speech and Language Therapy and Occupational Therapy.
The building will also provide new undergraduate biology labs and stations for 50 researchers and house state state-of-the-art clinical skills laboratories.
